Maybe he could pay lawyers before he violates the same rules everyone else gets jacked up for instead of making lawyers clean up after him. Like not committing visa fraud. Not getting naturalized after committing visa fraud. Not talking to Vlad and not reporting talking to Vlad which should get his clearance yanked. That's all his own doing.

All of this doesn’t hide the obvious plot to abuse power by attacking opposition, which is what happens in authoritarian failed states.
